Because of how my anorexia ruined me, these are only some of the meds I have to take before I ingest anything, whether it’s jello or broccoli or even an apple, cooked or raw.  Eating disorders did this, and now I’m paying the price.  My chronic gastritis can not only cause holes in the esophagus, but lead to cancer too.  I never wanted this, I never thought it would be this way.  Save yourself before you ruin yourself.  Trust me <3Excuse my messy paint clothes haha.

thereluctantrawfoodist:

I have 2 copies of this book so I thought I would offer one as a “give away” to someone following me. I will just chose someone at random from those of you who are following me and who re- blog this. To give you time to see this post and to avoid all the xmas post problems I will choose someone on 28 - 29 December. I will pay for the postage/shipping.
I am sorry I cannot give you all a present. I did provide the link to that lovely little Jónsi and Alex recipe book earlier on the blog as my Christmas card to you all ( I hope they don’t mind. It is freely available on their website.) Here is the link to my post on this .

Need I say anymore?
rawlivingfoods:

Coconuts are one of the greatest gifts on this planet. No matter where you are, what you have done, how much you have mistreated your body, fresh young coconut flesh, coconut water, coconut cream, and/or coconut oil can save your life.
The coconut is a natural water filter that takes almost nine months to filter each liter (quart) of water in the shell. This clear coconut water is one of the highest sources of electrolytes found in nature.
Young coconut water is nearly identical to human blood plasma, making it a universal donor. During the Pacific battles of World War ll, between 1941 and 1945, both sides in the conflict used coconut water siphoned directly from the coconut to give emergency plasma transfusions to wounded soldiers. Plasma makes up 55 percent of the human blood. The remaining 45 percent of our blood consists of hemoglobin-which is essentially transformed plant blood (chlorophyll).
When we consume a drink consisting of 55 percent fresh coconut water and 45 percent fresh green-leaf juice (or wheatgrass juice) we give ourselves an instant blood transfusion.

I have been feeling lately like I desperately want to make yoga a part of my life but overwhelmed as to where to start.
I took some classes a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, but this time I need it for different reasons rather than just part of a workout.

Dehydrator

Any exciting dehydrator raw breakfast recipes?

lets-get-thin-now:

If you starve yourself to lose weight, you have two options:
You reach your goal weight and keep starving yourself until you die.
You start eating again and gain the weight back.
If you are ALWAYS binge eating or always eating unhealthy food, you have two options:
Keep eating that shit until you get sick.
Switch to a healthy lifestyle.
If you eat right and exercise…
You will have more energy.
You will be in shape and have less fat in your body.
Your metabolism will speed up and your immune system will improve.
You will feel amazing after you exercise - those endorphins are fantastic.
Now, choose: starve, binge, or live healthily?
Remember, in a healthy lifestyle, you should eat right and exercise. However, never feel like you can’t eat unhealthy food every now and then. It’s perfectly ok to treat yourself - just don’t go overboard.
And of course, if you feel out of control, and can’t seem to not choose one of the first two options, it’s okay to ask for help. Sometimes, due to factors out of our control, starving and/or binging become more than just a habit.
There are better options out there for you. Ones that will make you both healthy and happy. Don’t be afraid to seek those options.

Raw Vegan: Thoughts?

eventhebutchersdaughter:

Since I got my alergy tests back I’ve been increasingly interested in a raw vegan diet.  By diet I mean way of eating not just something you do in order to fit into a dress.

Do any of you fine folks know any good books or websites that outline how to undertake this lifestyle safely and effectively?

Tumblr was such a big help last time, I figured I’d ask you guys again!  Thanks!

Ditto!
